What the Moon means for your skin care routine

What the Moon means for your skin care routine

The moon in the picture above is the Harvest Moon.  This describes the moon that reveals itself closest to the Fall equinox.  From a holistic/integrative perspective, moon cycles also inform our skin care and wellness practices.
.
Since the Moon cycles control the ocean tides and our bodies as we are made of 70% water, the moon may have an influence over our skin renewal, hair growth, menstrual cycles and energy levels as well.  Many feel the effects of the waxing and waning moon in their moods. It's not unusual at the full moon for people to act in ways they don't understand.
